I’m just gonna start writing down random thoughts aboutĀ a new conlang possibility that I’m having right now. It probably won’t become anything… but I’ll try haha!
I wanted to try something with endings and such instead of the basic romance model I normally use.
But I’ll still be using Romance roots, because that’s just who I am.
KREDE – to believe
KREDEA – believes present
KREDAT – believe past
KREDEIRA – will believe future
MEKREDEA – I believe
MEKREDAT – I believed
MEKREDEIRA – I will believe
Shi – Question particle
ME+verb = I ______.
TE+verb = you sing. ________.
DE+verb = he ________.
SE+verb = she________.
KE+verb = it________.
NE+verb = we_______.
DEM+verb = they _______. (SEM = females)
Tekredea mo shi? Do you believe me?
Subjective pronounĀ - E + O = Objective pronoun
Demkredeira no. They will believe us.
KA = relative pronoun, all types
There is no subjunctive change.
ETE = to be
ETA = is, are (irregular… would be etea if regular)
ETAT = was
ETEIRA = will be
We believe that he is.
Nekredea ka deita.
De+eta = deita.
ne+eteira = neiteira.
Did she believe that I was? -> Sekredat ka meita shi?
This is starting to look like it works like Japanese Romaji… as far as spelling rules go, that is.
Well, that’s the basic verb right there… pretty much all you need.
Now you just need verbs to use like that.
You can make a buttload of sentences with what you’ve got right there.
I’ll try to do a noun thing too:
MENO = hand
MENOMA = hands
KANO = dog
KANOMA = dogs
MAMENO = my hand
NAMENO = our hand
DAMENO = his hand
DAMMENOMA = their hands
SAMENO = her hand
etc.
DONE – to give
I give my hand to you.
Medonea mameno a to.
We will give our dog to her.
Nedoneira nokano a so.
Did she give it to us?
Sedonat ko a no shi?
That’s all I’ll do tonight, methinks. Enjoy.
